Stake Conference Choir: We need both men and women to sing in the Stake Conference Choir on Sunday, June 10th. Please come to the Stake Center this Sunday, May 6th at 7:30 pm to practice for the choir.  We will also practice on Sunday, May 20th, and Sunday, June 3rd, at 7:30 pm.  We are singing “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” and “God So Loved the World.”   Those with younger families may sit in the congregation and come up and down when the choir sings.

Visiting Teaching Reporting Changes

Visiting Teaching Reporting Changes: When you report your visiting teaching, visiting teachers are asked to report special needs and service given—in other words, their ministering. We are counting the caring instead of just counting visits. When Sister Northrup gives the bishop the monthly visiting teaching report, the report includes the special needs and services rendered by visiting teachers and a list of sisters not contacted.

For example, if one of your sisters had a baby and you brought a meal, report this. OR if you weren't able to meet with a sister but contacted her several times through phone, texts, or e-mail messages and are aware that she's been sick or any other concerns, report this. With this being said, please report how you were able to serve your sisters this month and whether it was a visit in person, on the phone, or if you left a message.

Visiting Teaching Message

Visiting Teaching Message: Because the May Ensign contains a report of the April general conference, there is not a specifically designated First Presidency Message or Visiting Teaching Message for May. Home and visiting teachers are encouraged to prayerfully select their message from the addresses given during general conference.
